At MDoA we do not collect personal information for any purpose other than to respond to you. If you choose to provide us with personal information — as in an e-mail or by filling out the "Contact Us" form and submitting it to us through our website — we use that information to respond to your inquiry and to help us get you the information you have requested. If you choose not to provide the information called for in one of the blanks on the "Contact Us" page, it may limit our ability to provide you with a comprehensive response. We treat emails and forms the same way we treat other documents. We are required to maintain many documents and some are subject to release under Maryland's Public Information Act. However, typically we are not required to release information that identifies an individual, or can be used to identify an individual, who applies for, receives, or participates in a service administered by us.
